July - November  2010

I’m going travelling from July 17th until November 14th. Starting in Canada before making my way to L.A. Then heading over to New Zealand, Australia and a final stop off in Bangkok before heading home.

July 2010

I’ve been busy again this month working on a several jobs and finalising my travelling plans. I edited a third film at Iris for Shell and Ferrari, and did some more work at Maverick on Sing It and Sonic Colours.

June 2010

June has been a very busy month for me, working on a total of five different jobs. I was back at Iris finishing off one of the films for Ferrari and Shell and then later in the month doing a retail campaign for the Adidas London 2012 equipment. Then at Maverick I did more work on Sing It and a couple of trailers for new Playstation 3 Move Controller games. Also at Maverick I edited a montage for Sega’s Sonic Colours game.

May 2010

I spent a lot of this month planning my upcoming trip to Canada this summer. I also worked at Maverick on a series of adverts on Disney’s Sing It! franchise. This particular game features songs from their classic animated films such as Lion King and Toy Story etc.

April 2010

April saw me finishing off the two videos for Shell and Ferrari that I was working at Iris. One of which was used to push the Shell/Helix profile in Asia over the Chinese Grand Prix weekend.

March 2010

I started the month at Maverick working on a nice twenty second TV spot, for Final Fantasy XIII. The game publishers have a deal with Leona Lewis, so the advert was cut to one of her tracks, which certainly complimented the epic look of the game. Then towards the end of the month, I was back at Iris to edit a humourous online campaign for The Labservatives. It’s pretty funny so please follow the link. After this I started work on two vidoes for Shell and Ferrari, also at Iris.

February 2010

After six months and eight trailers, Sonic Racing launched this month and we completed the final trailer. I also did some work on two Alien vs Predator projects, for the European launch this month. In the first half of the month I was called in by Iris, to complete a small project for Southern Comfort. I hadn’t been there in over 6 months, so it was interesting to get the opportunity to do some more work there.

January 2010

The Sonic Racing campaign is almost over. January saw me working on two trailers. Including finishing off the Vehicles and Tracks trailer and completing the All Star Moves edit.

December 2009

Two more trailers for the Sega Sonic racing game and several more projects for Tallboy this month. Oh and a few days off for Christmas as well!

November 2009

I did my first few days with Tallboy in Richmond this month. I worked on several projects for the pharmaceuticals company Novartis, including a 10 minute film which we turned around in just four days. I also started another trailer for the Sonic Racing campaign with Maverick.

October 2009

A busy month, spent mostly at Maverick. The highlight of which was the Hallowe’en themed trailer for Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing. I was involved in all stages of production and was delighted with the results.

September 2009

Back to work this month. I edited several projects for Maverick and produced a short corporate film for electronics firm NEC.

August 2009

I took most of the month off, travelling to Norway to see family, then to Scotland for a wedding.

July 2009

July saw me completing my work on Greg McMillan for Adidas. It was a long four month edit in the end, but a very rewarding process. I also cut a preview trailer for Sega’s 2010 release of Sonic Racing on the PS3.

June 2009

Again I spent June continuing work on Greg McMillan for Adidas. I also edited a viral campaign with England Cricketer, Freddie Flintoff for Sure for Men.

May 2009

Almost all of April was spent continuing work on the Greg McMillan running films for Adidas. I also tweaked a trailer on upcoming Sega release Bayonetta for Maverick.

April 2009

Another project at Iris this month and another series of films for Adidas. This time I started work on a long term project to edit 20+ films covering all aspects of running with coach Greg McMillan. I also had time to squeeze in another corporate film for PelGar.

March 2009

A new client this month in the shape of Iris Nation, a large multinational advertising agency. They got me in to edit ten films about Marathon Running for the Adidas website. These films starred British Olympians James Cracknell, Liz Yelling and Mo Farah.

February 2009

February was a great month as Maverick asked me to edit a series of 11 TV spots for the Resident Evil V release. As part of the hugely successful game and movie series these adverts were screened throughout Europe with a potential audience of hundreds of millions.

January 2009

My year started with a fantastic holiday to Vancouver In British Columbia. I returned in late January to edit a 30 second TV spot for Fear 2.
